KPA men and women’s teams are the defending champions.
Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) 2022 season is scheduled to begin in June with fixtures seen by Mozzart Sport setting 4 June as the restart date.
The league was earlier projected to begin in March bit delays in the men's playoff final that was eventually won by Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) necessitate the changes.
